This started out as a really interesting subject. But I think what was interesting to me was the area it self. Wish I had backed up a bit from the subject to show more of the mood, but still fun to paint and as always a learning experience. Along the back of the buildings is a seawall with a 15 foot drop to the water. Part of an old barge docking area for the papermill that use to be in Port ST. Joe Florida. Lots of old huge tractor tires used for bumpers. Old railroad tracks. Very cool place. I'm still pleased at how it turned out, perhaps we will go back there again and ill paint the view 180 from this one.
